Why this course is for you
This group course is especially for you if you have lived in the Netherlands for a while and want to stay here.
You want to integrate better and connect with people in everyday life, but you find it difficult to learn Dutch because everyone can speak English.
Although your motivation is high, you lack an effective way to really understand and use the language.
Duolingo helps a little, but you are looking for a course that teaches you rules, structures, and vocabulary to communicate easily in Dutch.
In this online group course, I will help you understand how to construct sentences.
You will learn the most commonly used words of the Dutch language.
After the first lesson, you will already be able to use basic Dutch sentences.
This is one of the primary goals of this course: to apply what you have learned in your daily life.
How it works
- Twice a week, you have an online lesson of 60 minutes.
- During this time, you will learn grammar, practice your listening and speaking skills.
- I guide you through the process and offer learning strategies and mindset tips.
- At home, you work approximately 4 hours a week on learning vocabulary, doing exercises, and improving your listening and writing skills.
- You will meet motivated people to learn with you.
- You will learn new strategies and inspire each other.
- Additional materials are included if you need more exercises, more practice.
Details
- In 40 hours from A0 to A2 level
- Online class every Tuesday and Thursday from 20.00 until 21.00 hours
- Starts January 20th, ends at the end of June.
- We use Microsoft Teams
- You need the book Nederlands in gang.
- €920,- per person. It is possible to pay in 4 installments.
- Maximum 6 people in a group.
Results to expect
You can have small conversations in your daily life.
You can use Dutch during small talk with colleagues, when you do groceries, or go to a bar or restaurant.
You can understand Dutch people when the speak clear and use simple words.
You will feel more at home, because you understand the culture and the people better.
What you will learn
Basic grammar and vocabulary: The fundamentals of the Dutch language, such as sentence structure, verbs, and commonly used words.
Communication skills: How to conduct simple conversations in everyday situations (e.g., introducing yourself, shopping, making appointments).
Listening and reading skills: Understanding short texts and spoken Dutch in context.
Cultural context: Introduction to Dutch customs and traditions to better understand the language in practice.
